DESCRIPTION:This workshop is a crash course in animating the inanimate. Participants will learn the fundamentals of hand puppetry and object manipulation. The workshop also includes hands-on lessons in basic puppetry gags and how to “incarnate” into papier-mache\, as well as tips for how to make a “really good show”. No experience necessary\, and puppets will be provided. Justin Lander\, of Modern Times Theater\, has been building puppets and creating touring puppet shows for twenty years.
