Cranbrook’s original Greenhouse was built in 1908, the same year as the Albert Kahn-designed Cranbrook House. The current structure was built in 1950 and features growing habitats for tropical plants, orchids, and more. Greenhouse operations and the Winter Houseplant Sale are managed by Cranbrook House & Gardens Auxiliary volunteers.
Cranbrook House & Gardens is located at 380 Lone Pine Road, Bloomfield Hills, Michigan 48304. For more information on the Winter Houseplant Sale and to become a member for early access, visit
