Adventure Camp at Teen HYPE

From June 17th – June 21st, Teen HYPE (Helping Youth by Providing Education) will host their second annual Adventure Camp at Teen HYPE’s Headquarters.

Teen HYPE’s exciting Adventure Camp stands out from other summer programs by using REAL Essentials, a leading relationship education curriculum. This curriculum is a fun and engaging curriculum specially designed to successfully launch children into adolescence. It teaches relationship skills that reduce friendship drama and enhance confidence and social success. (myrelationshipcenter.org)

Activities prepare students to better understand and address:
• What makes students special as individuals and understand unique qualities in others
• Skills for establishing healthy friendships and strengthening personal character qualities
• Setting personal goals for the short-term and long-term future
Teen HYPE’s experienced and dedicated staff speak to how critical it is for pre-teens to attend this camp: “Adventure Camp is a wonderful opportunity for Detroit youth to gain critical thinking and team bonding skills they can actually translate into the real world.”

Included in the $20 fee for the 4-day camp will be full breakfast and lunch, along with snacks.

Each day will conclude with both indoor and outdoor adventures, such as bike rides, museum trips, incentives, and more.

The camp will be located at 1938 Franklin St. Suite 103, Detroit, MI 48207 from 9:00am-4:00pm. There will not be programming on Wednesday, June 19th in recognition of Juneteenth.
