When you hear the word alchemy, you think of inner transformation. When creating a body of work that reflects this title, Miriam Uhura drew from within and the alchemy she witnessed around her, weaving together multiple themes. Drawing on classic mythology, the Book of Psalms, and hood tales, she gave birth to this work. Through these themes, all centered on transformation, Miriam Uhura aims to tell a story that highlights the moment of a pivot.
