Bootlegger’s Delight: A War Memorial Speakeasy
Every Speakeasy offers a chance to step back in time, enjoying specialty cocktails, live instrumental music, and guided glimpses into the hidden stories of the Alger House.
At the November 16 gathering, tours will be led by Mata Kartsonas of Historic Surfaces, the project manager behind our Alger House renovations. Mata will guide guests through the Library’s art collection, sharing insights into the newly acquired and restored paintings now on display in this historic space.
