Championing Equity A COnversation With John Carlos
The University of Michigan-Dearborn is proud to host Dr. John Carlos for a conversation about social justice and his experience after his protest at the 1968 Mexico City Olympic Games. Mr. Carlos will also speak on the importance of protest to ensure equity and change occurs. The lecture will be followed by a Q&A session. The event starts at 1 p.m. in the James Rennick University Center, and the public is welcome to attend.
