Check the Erratum

Check the Erratum is a group ceramic exhibition featuring Detroit-area artists Anthony Marsalese, Brooke Herzing, and Sue O’Connor, presented at Robyn Detroit from March 24–29. Moving between functional objects and sculptural forms, the exhibition explores revision, process, and the quiet resonance of imperfection inherent to working with clay. Thrown, handbuilt, and slip-cast works unfold through layered surfaces, linear patterning, and expressive hand-formed vessels that balance control with spontaneity, positioning ceramics as a record of touch, time, and change. An opening reception will be held Friday, March 27, from 6–9pm.
