Emerge! Art Festival Opens October 18 100 Years Unbound – The Power of Aging

Celebrate creativity at the Emerge! Art Festival, opening October 18, 2025, at the Ellen Kayrod Gallery inside Hannan Center (4750 Woodward Ave., Detroit). Presented under the theme “100 Years Unbound: The Power of Aging,” this juried exhibition showcases 175 works by artists 55+ from across metro Detroit. The festival honors Hannan Center’s centennial, highlighting the creativity, resilience, and impact of older adults through visual art, performance, and storytelling.
