Free Financial Education Webinar for Metro Detroit Children and Their Parents

A free workshop to help children learn how to make smart financial choices this summer aims to educate children, alongside their parents, about the importance of managing their money. Young participants will learn how to structure their allowance and other monies to understand the power of saving, budgeting, credit scores and the perils of debt, to help eliminate financial obstacles for their future. The program is open to middle & high school students and their parents. Children who attend will receive a $5 DQ gift card. Local community bankers will be available to help youth open bank accounts.
