Freedom House Detroit 40th Anniversary Celebration
Freedom House Detroit will host its 2023 Voices of Freedom fundraiser in celebration of the nonprofit organization’s 40 years of service to refugees, asylum seekers and others who are seeking humanitarian protection in Detroit. The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, October 6 at El Kiosko/Kiosco Banquet Hall located at 7271 Dix Rd. in Southwest Detroit. Professional storyteller, podcaster and Detroit native, Shannon Cason will serve as the master of ceremonies.
