A two-part atheist-focused series exploring how religion and nationalism have shaped oppression across history. In February, we visit the Charles H. Wright Museum to examine the treatment of Black Americans. In March, we visit the Zekelman Holocaust Center to study the persecution of Jews and other minorities in Europe. Both events pair learning with brunch and discussion, connecting historical parallels around power, belief, and dehumanization. This series invites critical reflection, honest conversation, and community—because understanding history without religious filters helps us recognize the warning signs in the present.
