Humanities Action Day at Wayne State University

Wayne State University’s Humanities Action Day on Nov. 14 is a campuswide celebration of creativity, connection and community that highlights why the humanities matter now more than ever. Featuring free workshops, local artists, advocacy activities and keynote speakers including U.S. Congressman Shri Thanedar and Dr. Kathleen Fitzpatrick of MSU, the event shows how literature, history, art and storytelling shape our shared future. In a time of shrinking arts funding, WSU is leading the way in showing that the humanities are not just relevant but essential. Free admission and lunch is included with registration.
