Kris Johnson Quartet

Award-winning trumpeter, composer, and educator Kris Johnson toured the world as a trumpeter and arranger with the Count Basie Orchestra from 2008-2019. Drawing from jazz, classical, hip-hop, and neo-soul, his writing creates diverse textures that represent his unique musical identity. Johnson will be joined by pianist Alexis Lombre, bassist Jonathon Muir-Cotton, and drummer Nate Winn.
