Love Language: Open Mic poetry inspired by John Sim's "Square Root of Love"
Irwin House Gallery's 2nd Annual Love Language is an evening of art, wine and open-mic poetry in celebration of LOVE and in tribute to John Sims' Square Root of Love. Sims, who passed in late 2022, was a Detroit-born math and conceptual artist whose life's work -intersected math, art, and activism. He encouraged us all to seek, speak and examine the physics of love. This event invites spoken word artists to share in the spirit of LOVE. The open mic will be moderated by Detroit's lovely and talented B. Ward. Suggested donation $5.
