Maamoul Press Presents Pop-Up for Palestine

Join Maamoul Press for a “Pop-Up for Palestine” at Cairo Coffee/Spot Lite Detroit. The event is free to attend and all ages are welcome. Stop by anytime between 1-5 p.m. at this drop-in style event, featuring a pop-up shop raising funds towards Gaza mutual aid, solidarity-building zine-making and letterpress activities, and a book launch! We are pleased to publish “A Normal Conversation In A Normal Household” by Palestinian artist Amal El-Nakhala, collecting three short comics as well as several standalone illustrations, documenting her experience of the war on Gaza and after escaping to Cairo.
