The MiABLE disability savings program provides individuals with disabilities and their families a tax-advantaged way to save for a wide range of expenses without jeopardizing government benefits like Supplemental Security Income, Social Security Disability Insurance or Medicaid.
Savings may be used tax-free on a variety of qualified disability expenses that help people maintain health, independence and quality of life, such as housing, food, transportation and assistive technology.
To help people learn about important MiABLE features and benefits, the Michigan Department of Treasury is hosting a series of free webinars.
