The Mini Hip Hop Museum (MHHM), founded by Baltimore native and creative visionary Milly Vanderwood, is bringing its highly acclaimed “In My Lifetime” Pop-Up Museum to Detroit, Michigan from November 7–9, 2025, for a three-day celebration of hip-hop culture, creativity, and community.
The Mini Hip Hop Museum is known for its cultural activations at events such as J. Cole’s “Dreamville Festival” offers visitors an immersion in the rich history of hip-hop through interactive exhibits, art installations, music, and hands-on experiences.
Guests will be able to explore Vintage memorabilia, a “Puff & Paint” session, and workshops and discussions on music production, hip-hop history, and the business of music.
Founded by Milly Vanderwood, one of Culturefeed’s “8 Dope People From Baltimore You Should Know”, the Mini Hip Hop Museum was created to educate, innovate, and inspire through the preservation of hip-hop’s past and the empowerment of its future. Vanderwood’s creative legacy also includes The S.A.N.D. (Sell Art Not Drugs) Gallery, Appreciate Black Queens, and Incredibly Creative Films.
