Mothering Justice Presents: State of the Mama Detroit

State of the Mama is our annual event that uplifts the voices of mamas of color and mobilizes our community to take action on the policies that impact our families the most. This gathering is a space to reflect on key legislative developments, celebrate our wins, and prepare for the work ahead. This year’s theme, Rooted in Our Resistance, centers around protecting Earned Paid Sick Time (EPST) and fair wages, ensuring that the policies meant to support working families are implemented and upheld. Attendees will gain tools to identify and contact their representatives, advocate effectively, and take action.
