Motown MIC: The Spoken Word
Motown Museum is hosting its annual Motown MIC: The Spoken Word competition on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 7 p.m. at The Cube in Detroit, located in the Max M. & Marjorie S. Fisher Music Center. Nine talented poets will perform original Detroit-inspired poems during the 2025 grand finale on The Cube stage. Contestants are competing for the opportunity to be named the Motown MIC 2025 Artist of the Year and a host of prizes.
