Join us for a special evening celebrating the 50th anniversary of John Cage's performance at Cranbrook, "John Cage Listens to John Cage," with a contemporary exploration of his dual fascinations—music and mushrooms.
The event features a pop-up exhibition and live lecture-performance by Dr. Timothy James, Curator of Fungi at the University of Michigan Herbarium, and Detroit Bureau of Sound. They will each present on their areas of expertise, followed by a collaborative performance inspired by Cage's legacy.
