Sacred Wounds Small Group

Have you been hurt by "the church" or a person/persons of faith? Made to feel unworthy of God's love? Confused about conflicting definitions of "right living?" Pastor Suzy Todd, lead pastor at Dearborn First United Methodist Church, invites you to a safe, compassionate space to work through the hurt and find a path to healing together. "Sacred Wounds" is a 3-week study that identifies symptoms of spiritual/religious trauma and offers approaches to treatment. It will also discuss the ways faith organizations have created trauma and inflicted harm, and how they can make reparation and reconciliation for that harm.
