Second Annual Kentucky Derby Day Viewing Party

I|O Rooftop at The Godfrey Hotel Detroit will host a Kentucky Derby Day Viewing Party, a celebrating high fashion, elevated spirits, and an afternoon of Derby elegance high above the city. Guests enjoy a pre-race celebration beginning at 2 p.m., with the main race post time at 6:57 p.m. When the race ends, the celebration continues. Festivities include: Derby Fashion Contest with prizes for Best Dressed Woman, Best Dressed Man, and Best Hat, Bourbon tastings every 30 minutes from 2 to 4 p.m., themed cocktails, live music and photo opportunities inspired by classic southern.
