Detroit School of Arts presents “Seven Seeds, One Harvest,” a powerful Kwanzaa celebration featuring West African drum and dance, music, poetry, fashion, and visual art created by DSA students. This year, students are building what may be the second largest Kwanzaa Kinara in the world, honoring elders and ancestral legacy through their craft. The concert also serves as the first fundraiser for a 2026–2027 cultural immersion trip to Guinea, West Africa, where 25 students will study with master artists of the National Ballet of Guinea. Join us for an evening of culture, unity, and youth brilliance.
