Sidewalk Festival

Join Sidewalk Detroit for the 10th Sidewalk Festival, Friday, Aug. 1 and Saturday, Aug. 2, at Eliza Howell Park. This free, two-day outdoor celebration brings Detroit’s landscape and culture into conversation through live performance, installation and interactive art. The 2025 theme, “Wild. Resistance. Rhythm. Story.”, invites artists and audiences to explore the wild beauty of the park while engaging in movement, memory and storytelling as forms of creative resistance. On Friday from 6 to 8 p.m., the festival opens with an artist talk, performances and installation previews.
