The Ike Blessitt Comedy Roast

Join us for an unforgettable night of love and laughter as we roast former Detroit Tiger and Hamtramck sports legend Ike Blessitt.

Special guests include former Detroit Tigers Jake Wood, Juan Berenguer, Barbaro Garbey, Marvin Lane, Craig Monroe, and more.

Blessitt, a four-sport superstar athlete at Hamtramck High School (Class of 1967) and a member of the 1972 American League East champion Detroit Tigers, has worked with young baseball players for years and continues to give batting lessons out of his eastside Detroit youth baseball training academy.

A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales will go toward upgrading Blessitt’s training facility in order to make it usable during the winter months.

Guests will enjoy dinner and dessert, as well as a cash bar. Plus there will be a great DJ spinning old-school R&B and plenty of hilarious jokes and stories about the one and only Ike Blessitt.
