The Peacock Room is curating an “over the top” vintage market befitting the historic Fisher Building lobby on Saturday, July 26 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm.
“Threads of Time: A Detroit Vintage Market” is a shopping experience designed for discerning antique lovers. Bringing some of Detroit’s most celebrated vintage sellers together under one beautiful roof, this event is a celebration of the timeless nature of classic style. Visitors can expect a curated selection of vintage and antique clothing, accessories, and home decor from some of Metro Detroit’s best collections.
Lovers of old glass, pottery, textiles, apparel, handbags, jewelry and more will find things from across all eras, gathered from all corners of the globe. From Bakelite to bone china, shoppers will be delighted to find a diverse assortment of treasures.
“Our first market in the winter attracted thousands of passionate vintage collectors to the gorgeous Fisher Building, so that called for a splashier sequel.” said Rachel Lutz, founder of The Peacock Room. “We’ve doubled the number of vendors this time and added food, fun and pinup girls. This will be unlike any other vintage market in Metro Detroit.”
