Veterans Day Celebration
The program will feature local author and publisher Heather Buchanan, a producer of cultural programs in the city for over 25 years. Buchanan will read from her novel Victors: A Novel of Love, War and Jazz, based on the true story of black soldiers in World War One. Buchanan will also share concert footage from a musical based on the book. Veterans who attend will be recognized during the program.
