How’d You Write That? – A Concert and Conversation Between Bill Edwards and Mike Green

Two Ann Arbor songwriters with very different writing styles perform their own songs and interview each other about the songwriting craft, their influences and inspirations, and whatever else comes up. They’ll take some questions from the audience, then invite the audience to stay for more conversation after the concert. Bill Edwards is both a master of the songwriting craft and a seasoned and compelling performer. Mike Green’s philosophy about life may be a bit confounding. In his songs, there’s a palpable tension between tenderness and irony, profundity and slapstick, aching beauty and fierce rock & roll.
