Night of Art + Protest: Immigration

Come experience a free community event expressing immigration advocacy through visual art, music, spoken word, and more! Artist and photographer Bill Franz will share the inspiration story behind his evocative artwork “Not a Criminal,” displayed at this year’s ArtPrize in Grand Rapids. Additional artists will be contributing original songs, poetry, and prose. Attendees will also be encouraged to get informed, inspired, and creative with make-and-take activities, an immigration-themed activity, and resources from Immigration Law and Justice Michigan. Be part of an evening that celebrates creativity, community, and the courage not only to tell our stories, but to act on them.
