Puppetry 101; A Workshop! By Modern Times Theater

This workshop is a crash course in animating the inanimate. Participants will learn the fundamentals of hand puppetry and object manipulation. The workshop also includes hands-on lessons in basic puppetry gags and how to “incarnate” into papier-mache, as well as tips for how to make a “really good show”. No experience necessary, and puppets will be provided. Justin Lander, of Modern Times Theater, has been building puppets and creating touring puppet shows for twenty years. He is a Professor of Mr. Punch, and a specialist in object manipulation No experience necessary, and puppets will be provided. For ages 16+
