Shigeto: Live at The Palmer Park Bandshell

On Sunday, October 5, People for Palmer Park and Moondog Café present Shigeto in a free, all-ages performance at the newly-minted Palmer Park bandshell. Detroit-based drummer, electronic music producer, label head, DJ and WDET radio host, Shigeto is a pillar of Detroit’s diverse music scene. His 5th full-length album "Cherry Blossom Baby" landed in the fall of 2024 but, aside from a headlining spot at the Movement Music Festival this spring, his latest ensemble hasn’t performed as such to the Detroit community, until now. The ensemble includes Marcus Elliot, Ian Fink, KESSWA, Tim Shellabarger, Dez Andres and Shigeto himself.
