Changes in memory and thinking are a natural part of aging and understanding what is normal vs. concerning is important. Gloria Whitaker, LMSW-C, a geriatric social worker, and contributor to the University of Michigan Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center will discuss brain aging, early warning signs, and common myths at a free educational event for older adults, caregivers, and families on Thursday, February 6, at 1 p.m. at Meer Independent Living in West Bloomfield.
