Xiao Dong Wei & Friends
At the age of 11, she was accepted into the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing. Ten years later she earned her degree, becoming "Master of the Erhu". A 2012 Kresge Artist, she has appeared as a soloist with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. She has been featured on National Public Radio and has produced multiple critically-acclaimed albums. Xiao Dong Wei is a lecturer at the University of Michigan and her music can be heard all around the world.
